She was raised in the luxurious Upper East Side of Manhattan as part of an elitist Catholic family. In order to avoid being a victim of the system, her parents were enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart a prestigious and religious school. Since she was young, she has been musically inclined. Her first lesson was to play piano at a young age, and she wrote her first original song when she was 13. Nights at open mics were her most loved.
