Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of is a film actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema along with several films in Malayalam. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri on Mahanati, a Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actress. Following her study of fashion design, she returned to film. She had her first lead part in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. It did not perform well at the box office. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be successful at the box-office. In order to fit in bigger projects, she had to pull out of films she had started working on. This comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In a short time, she worked together with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead for Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been scheduled in the form of Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been in the process of being delayed, and there are speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy made her debut with Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
